Good research is slow. You open a dozen tabs, cross-reference sources, check social media for sentiment, and try to synthesize it all into something coherent. It takes hours for a task that should take minutes.

Most AI tools made this marginally better by giving you a chatbot that can search the web. But a single agent searching one source at a time still misses things. It doesn't catch the thread on X where an insider leaked details. It doesn't cross-reference the blog post with the SEC filing. It gives you a surface-level answer when you need depth.

We built Probe to fix that. Instead of one agent doing one thing at a time, Probe runs up to 16 agents in parallel — each searching different sources, exploring different angles, and synthesizing their findings into a single structured report. It's the difference between sending one scout and deploying a research team.

Probe is built on xAI's multi-agent architecture. When you submit a research query, the system spins up multiple AI agents that search the web and X/Twitter simultaneously. Each agent pursues a different line of inquiry, and their findings are synthesized into a single coherent report.

Three research tiers give you control over depth and cost. Quick queries ($0.50) use a single agent for fast answers. Deep queries ($2) deploy multiple agents with enhanced reasoning. Deep+ ($5) runs the full 16-agent configuration with maximum reasoning depth for complex topics that demand thorough coverage.

Every report includes an executive summary, key findings, sentiment analysis from social sources, and numbered citations so you can verify any claim.
